Sandwich Wildlife Park is not your average wildlife park. We’re all about getting you as close to nature as possible. After all, we share our mantra with Benjamin Franklin:
Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.
Our passion is the conservation of the natural world and we can’t think of a better way to share this love for the wild with fellow budding conservationists!
Our site became Sandwich Wildlife Park on the 9th January 2017, after 8 years of being the Rare Species Conservation Centre, which acquired the site from the old South East Water Gardens.
During these early years, the site evolved and became a beautiful setting to share your time with some of the most amazing creatures on the planet. This tradition did not change when Wingham Wildlife Park took over the site and re-branded it to the Sandwich Wildlife Park which stands on the outskirts of the Cinque Port of Sandwich.
Today Wingham Wildlife Park and Sandwich Wildlife Park run hand in hand to bring the exotic world of nature to the Kentish public in a variety of new, exciting and innovative ways… We can’t wait to write this history with you by our side!
